A useful first message
- What you want to make, understand or preserve.
- A general description of the material and how much there is.
- Your intended audience, timing and any known restrictions.
- The kind of help you would like.
Keep the first step simple.
Please do not send original archive files, identity documents, passwords or confidential records in an initial enquiry. We can first agree on an appropriate way to handle the material.
For an existing private project, use its established contact or private workspace link and include the project reference. No account credentials are needed in an email.
